How Dropline will work

The Method will combine a guided six-stage journey with a private, user-controlled project file. This page explains the practical shape of that experience without publishing the protected instructions.

1. Enter the Method

After launch, a user will create an account, actively begin the 14-day trial and enter the protected workspace.

2. Create or open a project

A new or existing .dropline file will be selected on the user’s device. Dropline will not create an online manuscript library.

3. Work through six stages

The workspace will make the current stage, project direction and progress easy to understand while keeping the writing area central.

4. Save truthfully

Browsers that permit direct writing to a chosen file will support it. Other browsers will use a clear Save a Copy or download flow. Dropline will never claim that a file is saved when it is not.

5. Keep control

The user keeps the .dropline file and decides where it is stored, transferred and backed up. The same format is planned for the later macOS, iPhone and iPad applications.
